Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in providing patient care in a safe and healing environment.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients and families, including direct health information.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
