As a full-time School Psychologist working onsite near Bridgeville, DE, you’ll work closely with PreK students, educators, and families to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid state certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working within a school setting, particularly with early childhood or PreK populations, is highly valued
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for PreK students
• Develop individualized recommendations and intervention plans to address student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEPs, and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Offer crisis intervention and support services as needed
• Deliver counseling, both individually and in groups, targeting social skills, behavior, and emotional regulation
• Stay current on best practices and regulations related to school psychology and early childhood education
