Job Title: Registered Nurse - Resource Float Pool

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours

Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months

License: Active state license to practice verified in the last 30 days

Certifications: Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor

Must-Have: Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. RTO must be included on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days. No RTO during the first week of assignment. Candidates should clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. The more flexible they are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster an offer can be secured. Previous travel experience is required. Life support certifications must be from an approved vendor. No hits on state license to practice are permitted.

Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support where necessary. Candidates may be floated to various units to manage patients that range from observation, medical-surgical, to progressive care. Occasionally, candidates may be floated to other departments to take patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed. Candidates should be flexible in working across multiple departments and units. A complete profile that outlines all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and the number of beds is required. PCU skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months. Candidates are encouraged to maintain an up-to-date active license and life support certifications. Strict adherence to all background check standards is required.
