Registered Nurse - Henry Ford Health

Job Title : Registered Nurse

• 5% Market Premium
• $2 Weekend Premium
• 10% Night Shift Premium
• Schedule: Part-Time, Midnights, 7pm-7:30am,   Monday thru Friday & every 3rd weekend; 48-60 hours per pay 
• Sign On Bonus Eligible
• Department: Medical Surgical, Ortho, Stroke and Pulmonary.  This is a 45 bed unit.

Role Overview : As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will use your professional judgment and analytical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your patients. What You Will Do :

• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.

 

Qualifications

What You Will Need :

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months of hire date.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
