AWS Data Engineer

AWS Data Engineer

Location: Remote; if local to Herndon, VA must be in-person 4 days a week

Duration: 12+ months

Tasks:

Design and implement a secure AWS data store and supporting serverless components for an enterprise financial workflow.
Develop DynamoDB access patterns, security controls, monitoring, backup and recovery capabilities, infrastructure automation and integrations with API services.

Required Skills:

4+ years building and supporting AWS cloud-native solutions
Hands-on DynamoDB data-modeling and performance experience
Strong AWS IAM, KMS, CloudWatch and Lambda knowledge
Infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform or an approved equivalent
Python and/or Node.js development experience
Git-based CI/CD and deployment experience
AWS certification and federal cloud experience
