We are seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to lead a team and ensure smooth operations during shifts. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager and focuses on safety, and meeting financial targets within the Taco Bell franchise HAZA Bell. Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager Overview: Oversee operations during the designated shift, ensuring efficient service, high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction in accordance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate crew, delegate tasks, provide coaching and training, and maintain a positive work environment. Operational Oversight: Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation; ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards; monitor inventory and order supplies. Shift Scheduling and Staffing: Create and maintain shift schedules and collaborate with the restaurant manager to address staffing gaps. Training & Development: Train new hires and conduct ongoing training for customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols. Sales & Profitability: Monitor sales performance and expenses, implementing strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management and collaborate with kitchen, servers, and support staff to coordinate operations and deliver seamless service. Requirements Proven supervisory or managerial experience in the restaurant industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Education and Certification High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred). Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) is advantageous. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move around the restaurant for extended periods.
