RN – Endoscopy | Ocala, FL
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day/Evening, Mon–Fri (11:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
Location: 1431 Southwest 1st Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and assist physicians with endoscopy cases
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and sedation as ordered during endoscopy procedures
- Perform patient assessments, documentation, and discharge teaching
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of RN Endoscopy experience
- Strong procedural and recovery care experience
- Experience with IV starts, medication administration, and patient monitoring
- Ability to work in fast-paced procedural setting
- Strong documentation and patient education skills
- Adaptability to facility workflow and scheduling needs
