The Behavioral Interventionist plays a vital role in supporting individuals through targeted behavioral assessments and interventions. Working primarily in school, home, community, and clinic settings, this role involves managing a caseload of 1 on 1 clients and frequently traveling to various locations. The interventionist operates under direct supervision to provide tailored behavioral support and improve client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain detailed records and reports
- Travel regularly to client locations for in-person support
- Work under direct supervision to ensure quality and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field in human service or higher
- CPR or first aid
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in behavioral intervention
- Proficiency in behavioral assessment and data analysis
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Effective problem-solving and collaboration abilities
- Experience in report writing and time management
