Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Primary Care Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician, you will join a growing, physician-led practice at Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton ( , playing a pivotal role in the continued success, design, and development of our regional comprehensive health service line.

You will provide expert outpatient clinical care to a diverse patient population within the community, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care interventions. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered care network in a highly collaborative environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care, strong clinical and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to building a premier medical home within a supportive, mission-driven environment. • Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including routine wellness exams, preventative health screenings, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.

• Formulate and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans while monitoring patient health outcomes and promoting long-term wellness.

• Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with a dedicated network of local medical specialists, nurse practitioners, and regional clinical leaders to optimize patient care pathways.

• Educate patients and their families on wellness strategies, lifestyle modifications, and chronic condition self-management to empower healthier lives within the community.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Guaranteed annual base salary of $275,000 - $300,000/year for the first two years , plus productivity-based incentives

• Flexible Scheduling Options: Choose between a traditional Monday through Friday schedule or a 4-day workweek, with options for standard day shifts or night shifts based on personal preference or practice needs

• True Work-Life Balance: 100% outpatient practice setting with absolutely no call constraints (no inpatient and no telephone call)

• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility, an employer-sponsored pension plan, and annual CME allowance

Job Requirements

Required:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

• Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)

• Active or eligible medical license in the state of California

• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)

• Completion of an accredited post-graduate residency training program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills

$246,755 - $296,789 /year
