Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Atlanta, GA (Travel between Buckhead and Roswell locations)

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 / hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) benefits.

About the Opportunity

Addison Group is seeking a Medical Assistant on behalf of our client for a direct hire position. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting both patient care and administrative workflows.

The ideal candidate is proactive, patient-focused, and comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with operational support. Recent graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply, though experienced Medical Assistants are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly alongside the physician in a fast-paced environment to assist with patient examinations, minor procedures, and specialty treatments while maintaining optimal clinic flow.
• Perform real-time medical scribing during provider encounters, accurately documenting clinical notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, and orders into the EMR.
• Room patients efficiently by gathering detailed medical histories, recording vital signs, and performing pre-charting to prepare the provider for seamless appointments.
• Manage comprehensive administrative and clinical follow-up, including specialty medication paperwork, prescription requests, patient messaging, and lab result communications.
• Support high-volume daily operations through rapid exam room turnarounds, inventory upkeep, phlebotomy, and floating between providers or clinic locations as needed.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Direct experience scribing alongside physicians in a high-volume clinical setting.
• Dermatology or aesthetics experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records; experience with ModMed/EMA and real-time medical scribing is a plus.
• Proven ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment alongside attending providers.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is preferred but not required.
