Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Belt Technician for a growing belt fabrication and industrial solutions facility in South Charlotte. Responsibilities:
Belt Technician
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair industrial conveyor belts and related components
- Measure, cut, splice, and prepare belting materials to customer specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Receive, organize, and verify incoming materials and inventory
- Assist with packaging, shipping, and preparing customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Support team production goals and complete projects on schedule
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Belt Technician
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized fabrication techniques
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow work instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working in an industrial environment
