Senior Financial Analyst

LHH is partnering with our long-time manufacturing client in their search for a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role involves preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, profitability analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst also participates in strategic initiatives, projects, and ad hoc requests as needed. We are seeking a proactive, intellectually curious finance professional who combines strong analytical rigor with a passion for continuous improvement and leveraging emerging technologies to elevate finance's impact on the business. Responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to improve business results.
• Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, scenarios, and projections to support strategic decision making and planning.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Legal, and HR to ensure data accuracy and alignment and address any spending concerns.
• Assist in preparation of the annual five-year strategic plan
• Lead the preparation and review of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts and monitor actual results against plan.
• Maintain enterprise level product vitality index reporting.
• Assist in Mergers and Acquisitions analysis as needed.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management or business partners.
• Perform certain monthly close tasks such as journal entries and invoice approvals as needed.

Education and Experience

• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive key financial processes (forecasting, budgeting, month-end analysis) with minimal oversight
• Strong business acumen with a track record of influencing decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven aptitude for identifying inefficiencies and leading process improvements that enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability of financial reporting and planning
• Experience leveraging tools and automation (e.g., Excel advanced functions, Power BI, ERP/reporting systems) to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
