Medical Biller/Claims Processing - Patient Support Representative (Home-Based)

IQVIA seeks a remote medical billing representative to process patient insurance claims and administer payment assistance programs. The role involves reviewing claims documentation, interpreting insurance forms, and determining eligibility against program guidelines while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and validate medical claims with required supporting documentation from providers or patients
• Interpret insurance forms and evaluate claims against program-specific business rules for approval or rejection
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and other communication channels
• Identify operational challenges and suggest process improvements to management
• Meet daily productivity quotas and maintain HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of medical billing program, degree, or certification
• Claims processing experience
• Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits forms
• Insurance verification experience
• Payment posting experience
• Inbound and outbound call center or customer service experience

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
