Exciting Opportunity: RN for Main Operating Room - Nights (4x10)

Job Description:

- Facility Location: 1235 E Cherokee St, Springfield, MO 65804
- Role: RN in the Main Operating Room
- Shift: Nights, 4x10, scheduled between 1900-0700
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Number of Openings: 1

Position Information:

- Required Licensure: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed)
- Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only
- Preferred Certifications: Not specified
- Experience Required:
- 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma Experience (Teaching hospital experience will be required)
- Scrub and OR Circulator experience
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Handling Equipment: Various types including DaVinci for the Robot
- EMR System: EPIC

Unit Information:

- Number of Beds: Main 22, ASC 8, Ortho 10
- Type of Patients: Outpatient to critical care inpatient

Hiring Profile:

- Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience
- Scrub and OR Circulator skills
- Preferred Experience: Level 1 trauma with multiple years of experience
- Personality Fit: Highly motivated self-starter

Dress Code:

- Scrub Color: Provided
- Unacceptable Attire: Unprofessional attire, jeans

Additional Information:

- Night shift orients on day shift; must be available the entire week
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
- Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments for optimal patient comfort
- Maintains professional accountability for patient care
- Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other caregivers
- Works within the scope of nursing preparation and follows established guidelines
