Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hour Shifts (rotating call) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: Experience in Operating Room circulation Description: Under the supervision of the Operating Room Supervisor, the OR RN maintains the health and welfare of a patient before, during, and after the surgical procedure. Through assessment of the patient and procedures, the OR RN anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The OR RN is a self-motivated professional and resource person. The OR RN supports the mission and nursing philosophy of the healthcare organization. Holiday coverage is required. Travelers must be located outside of a 250-mile radius from the facility.
