Position: Playwright Automation Engineer with Python

Location: Onsite in Irving, TX (Local Only) F2F Interview required

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong Python experience to join our QA automation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and Python , with a strong understanding of web application testing and automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python .
Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
Participate in test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines .
Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
Maintain automation scripts and improve test coverage and reliability.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright .
Strong programming experience with Python .
Experience with PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of UI/Web Automation Testing .
Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Knowledge of API testing and REST APIs .
Experience with Git/version control .
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of QA processes and software testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Selenium WebDriver .
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of SQL/database testing.
Experience with cloud-based applications and testing environments.

Important Requirement

F2F interview is mandatory. Candidates must be local or able to attend the face-to-face interview.
