Nurse Manager Neuro PCU
Job Description The Nurse Manager Neuro PCU is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Nurse Manager Neuro PCU will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.

Job Description The Nurse Manager Neuro PCU is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Nurse Manager Neuro PCU will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff in the Neuro PCU
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff
- Manage the budget for the Neuro PCU
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff
- Current RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a progressive care unit (PCU)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
