Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, determining their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, preferences, and specific needs, integrating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adults and families experiencing mood disorders, relationship challenges, and the stressors associated with divorce. As an LMFT, you will be equipped to address complex family dynamics and foster healthy communication and relationships among clients, helping them navigate their challenges and build stronger connections.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a willingness to support clients through their experiences and struggles.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in one or more therapeutic modalities, including structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, or communication therapy.

• Prior experience working with clients undergoing divorce and relationship counseling is highly preferred.
