Travelers will be assigned to a unit based on their experience. Nurses may float to various units to support patient care. Travelers must comply with a nicotine-free policy and will be required to adhere to weekend and holiday work guidelines. Travelers are expected to work four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period, with specific weekend days required. A holiday requirement includes working two out of three major holidays. Candidates must be more than a specified distance from the facility to be eligible. Pending licenses are accepted, but licenses must be in hand by a certain timeframe. RNs are required to wear designated scrubs and are expected to prepare for a dynamic work environment with interdisciplinary support teams.
