Title Dental hygienist Job Description Preventive Therapy: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including precise scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing medical histories, recording vital signs, and assessing current dental conditions to inform treatment planning. Diagnostics: Capture and interpret digital X-rays while adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Health Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits. Documentation: Maintain meticulous patient records, treatment notes, and medical history updates in accordance with clinical standards. Compliance: Safeguard patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information in strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Clinical Safety: Follow rigorous sterilization procedures and infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe environment for all. Salary Range part-time $45 - $50 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Flexible) Requirements Infection Control License Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Licensure: Valid and current State License to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Certification: Current X-ray certification is required. Clinical Skills: Proven experience in performing dental hygiene duties within general or pediatric dentistry settings. Safety Standards: Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient education and seamless team collaboration. Professionalism: A track record of being dependable, punctual, and highly organized. Preferences Experienced Dental Hygienist (3+ years) Experience: Mid-level clinical experience is a plus, though we value the right attitude and cultural fit.
