- Small Engine TechnicianMount Vernon, OH 43050## Description* Deliver exceptional service, ensuring timely and high-quality onsite repair services for all assigned work orders.* Inspect equipment as a whole to obtain accurate diagnosis and effective solution to the problem.* Appropriate handling of all tools and equipment to ensure safety.* Assist other technicians as needed.* Maintain accurate daily documentation of performed work and progress.* Preserve a safe, clean, and organized workspace environment.* Perform preventative maintenance on client and rental fleet equipment.* Provide friendly, professional, and informative interaction with clients, and address concerns and issues promptly and effectively.* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.* All other duties and tasks assigned by management.## Qualifications* Mechanical skills encompassing small engine, diesel and hydraulic systems diagnostics and repairs.* Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively.* Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and sitting.* Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in person and via documentation.* Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.\*\*Mechanic certification not required, but a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred\*\*
