Instructional Assistant

Instructional Assistant - TK Setting / Dogwood Elementary

Under the direction of the Principal, assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction for individual students or small groups in a Transitional Kindergarten classroom or other learning environment. Assists with preparing instructional materials and implementing lesson plans, educational goals, and objectives. Supports students in developing academic, social, behavioral, and self-help skills. Performs routine clerical and other supportive duties for instructional personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Completed application - Current resume - Three signed and dated letters of recommendation issued within the past year - Copy of an AA/AS degree or official transcripts showing completion of at least 48 semester units from an accredited institution of higher education - Copy of a high school diploma or equivalent - Copy of current CPR and basic first aid certification - Copy of a current TB clearance

Contingent upon meeting all the above requirements DOJ/FBI clearance TB skin test clearance
