Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract ( No benefits )
Shift: Days, 3 x 12 hours (7:00 to 19:00)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technologist to support a short-term acute care hospital setting. Local and traveler candidates are both accepted.
Required Education
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology
Required Certifications and Licensure
- Certified OR Technician certification through NBSTSA
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Certified Operating Room (OR) Technician
- Travel experience
- Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
- Floating between units is not required
Preferred
- Experience with Epic charting
