Bilingual HR Generalist

Job Title: Bilingual HR Generalist Location: Sparta, NJ Job Summary: We are seeking a professional and organized Bilingual HR Generalist to support employees and management across a variety of HR functions. This role will assist with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, HR compliance, documentation, and employee development. Responsibilities: Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to employees and managers. Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS information. Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and company practices. Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries. Support employee investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Recruit, screen, and interview candidates and assist hiring managers with the selection process. Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation. Maintain job descriptions, employee handbooks, policies, and other HR documents. Support managers with performance management, employee counseling, interviewing, and documentation. Assist with training, employee development, health and safety initiatives, and employee engagement. Coordinate with staffing agencies for temporary staffing needs. Support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of related HR experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR certification preferred/required. Knowledge of employment laws, including EEO and ADA. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively with employees and management at all levels. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
