Picture your day keeping a high-temperature incineration facility running at its best. You’ll inspect equipment at the start of your shift, diagnose issues across conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, kilns, boilers, electrical systems, and heavy equipment, and then roll up your sleeves to repair, rebuild, or fabricate what’s needed. By the end of the day, you’ll have validated your work through testing and documentation—helping ensure safe, reliable operations.

Role overview

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will perform on-site maintenance and repair of industrial processing equipment at our Aragonite, UT incineration facility. We’re seeking a mechanically inclined professional with an unwavering commitment to health and safety.

What you’ll do

• Champion safety by following policies and procedures at all times
• Troubleshoot and repair: conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical components, and heavy equipment
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment to inspect, service, or replace components
• Fabricate parts, replace gaskets, and perform welding/cutting as needed
• Identify root causes of failures and perform precise repairs or replacements
• Test and monitor equipment to confirm proper operation after service
• Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Industrial maintenance experience (required)
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic system repair
• Exposure to compressors, conveyors, and other processing equipment
• Heavy equipment repair background
• Welding and cutting torch proficiency
• Computer and systems literacy; familiarity with modern industrial/electronic tech
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; team-first mindset
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Valid Driver's License; DOT training
• 100% onsite role—no remote work

Physical requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist height
• Climb up and down vertical ladders
• Reach out, over, and down while exerting force
• 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected); strong depth perception
• Perform a fit test series: 10 pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups
• Good hand–eye coordination
• Respirator fit test upon hire—clean-shaven face required (mustache okay!)
• Punctuality and strong attendance record
