Clinical Specialist II

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist II to provide engineering, sales, and clinical support for electrophysiology products. The role involves field technical assistance, physician training, case coverage, and cross-functional collaboration to advance cardiac arrhythmia treatment technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, engineering, and clinical support to physicians and field staff on electrophysiology products
- Develop and lead training programs on EP products for healthcare professionals
- Support regional EP procedural case coverage and serve as backup to sales representatives
- Deliver product demonstrations and in-service training; troubleshoot product issues
- Gather market feedback and provide guidance to management on product development and competitive landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in internal or external industry roles
- Minimum 6 months experience as Clinical Specialist
- Average of 15+ EP cases monthly as primary mapper for 6-12 consecutive months
- Primary mapper on complex cases for 6+ months with minimum 3 complex cases in last 6 months
- Ability to obtain EP product certification and satisfy vendor credentialing requirements
- Most recent performance review meeting or exceeding expectations
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
