Palletizer Operator

Adhere to all safety regulations and/or directives Package product to required specifications Operate can palletizer and package cans into pallets and boxes Place sleeves in cartons or snakewrap on pallet as required Manually load shells into equipment as required Complete forms and reports as required, both manually and electronically Assist Line Mechanics in basic repairs and preventive maintenance Operate forktruck as required to assist Line Mechanics and fill in for Shipper/Warehouser (Lift Truck Operator) when required Perform misc./utility duties as needed (i.e. clean & maintain baler; snow removal at night) Maintain clean work area and perform other cleaning duties as assigned by Management Assist in training other employees and Management Trainees as required. Attend training sessions as required. Experience Manufacturing experience preferred. Required Skills Ability to use basic mechanical tools to include measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints and technical manuals PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat and stand for extended periods of time while performing job duties (up to 12 hours a day). Ability to push, pull, bend, climb steps and ladders, walk, and lift on a continuous basis (up to 12 hours a day). Be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level on an occasional basis.
