Description

• Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage actively in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
