Automotive Warranty AdministratorFord Square of Mt Vernon in Mt Vernon, IL is looking for an experienced Automotive Warranty Administrator to manage the processing, submission, and follow-up of warranty claims with Ford and other vendors, along with tracking and management of technician timecards and compensation. This role works closely with service advisors, technicians, and the service manager to ensure warranty documentation is complete, compliant, and submitted accurately and on time. If you have a strong grasp of Ford warranty procedures and a track record of keeping claims organized and resolved, this is a role where that expertise is put to direct use.What We OfferComprehensive insurance coverage including health, life, vision, dental, and disabilityCompetitive pay based on experiencePTO and sick leave401(k) after one year of employmentOngoing training and opportunities for advancementWhat You'll DoManage the timecard and tracking of technician compensationProcess and submit warranty claims to Ford and other vendors as requiredVerify all documentation for accuracy, including repair orders, technician notes, and labor operations, photos submissions to ford for approvals.Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty guidelines, and audit standardsTrack claim approvals, denials, and chargebacks through to timely resolutionStay current on Ford warranty policies, bulletins, and procedural updatesCommunicate with service advisors and technicians to resolve claim-related questionsReconcile and post warranty credits and payments to accountingPrepare for and assist with warranty audits as neededKeep organized warranty files and reporting logsWhat We're Looking For4+ years of experience as an Automotive Warranty Administrator or Warranty Clerk requiredPrior Ford warranty and labor time coding experience strongly preferredSolid understanding of dealership repair order documentation and service department workflowsHigh accuracy and attention to detail with records and data entryAbility to problem-solve and follow through on claim resolutions from start to finishProficiency with DMS systemsStrong communication and organizational skillsValid driver's license requiredFord Square of Mt Vernon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
