Your expertise will be crucial in helping students from preschool through fifth grade overcome communication challenges and succeed academically. No remote or hybrid options are available; this is a fully onsite position offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours.

Qualifications:
• Active Virginia SLP license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Expertise in assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

What you’ll do:
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of sessions and progress
• Consult with staff and parents to integrate speech strategies in the classroom
• Attend team meetings and contribute to student support plans
• Manage a set caseload at a single assigned school for the duration of the contract
• Provide coverage for maternity leaves within the established school hours and assignment dates
