As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive business goals.Core Responsibilities• Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to the development environment, and technical documentation.• Work independently to support software throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Diagnose and resolve performance issues.• Participate in the estimation process, use case specifications, and reviews of test plans, test cases, requirements, and project planning.• Introduce tools and automate repetitive processes.• Guide and mentor junior developers in coding and workflow procedures and conduct code reviews.Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science with 8 + years’ experience• 4+ years of experience with Angular / AngularJS• 4+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code. A solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.• 4+ years developing Java / SpringBoot applications in an enterprise environment• 4+ years’ experience with key cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes• 3+ years of experience working with live streaming data - such as Kafka• Hands-on experience working with relational and no-sql databases such as MongoDB• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), ETL, and SQL optimization for large scale data transformations• Experience with day-to-day tools such as Jira, PagerDuty, ServiceNow• Experience with Git and CI/CD PipelinesMust Haves• Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.• Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.• Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.• Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.• Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously.
