The Mobile Outpatient Physical Therapist -PRN provides specialized rehabilitation services primarily to orthopedic, geriatric, and neurological patients. This role offers a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week with minimal travel between patient homes, using portable therapy equipment. Supported by AI-assisted documentation, therapists enjoy efficient note-taking, competitive pay, autonomy, and a supportive management environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct rehabilitation exercises and mobility training
- Manage pain and monitor patient progress
- Document therapy sessions efficiently using AI-assisted tools
- Educate patients on recovery processes and home exercises
- Handle portable therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of physical therapy experience
- Expertise in orthopedic physical therapy and manual therapy techniques
- Strong skills in patient assessment and therapeutic exercise
- Excellent communication, time management, empathy, and critical thinking abilities
