Partner with the best As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll lead 1520 engineers, driving execution of complex programs. You will apply technical fluency, program management, and relationship skills to deliver solutions in compute. Success requires clear, structured communication, process building and improvement, and aligning engineering execution with organizational strategy and customer needs As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for: Supporting cross-functional teams and providing subject matter expertise in planning and execution of multiple projects and programs Fostering effective communication and maintaining meticulous documentation Reporting on program status, areas of risk/opportunity, process dependencies and success metrics to senior internal stakeholders Engaging regularly with key collaborators, effectively communicating progress, to evaluate and identify business risks, understand priorities and propose solutions Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement Fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment that enables engineers to succeed and grow Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent Demonstrate proficient experience in program or project management in a cross-functional and technical team Have a sufficient level of technical background to provide credibility to technical teams and accurately and objectively evaluate risks and issues Possess experience navigating ambiguity, managing risks, and adapting to changing priorities Have good interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders Be action-oriented with solid analytical skills, capable of problem-solving and decision-making Demonstrate ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without direct authority Demonstrate proficient experience in managing Agile work processes About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
