Competitive pay Full-time and part-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling Supportive leadership team Positive, family-oriented work environment Ongoing education and training Opportunities for career advancement Responsibilities As a Medication Technician, you will: Safely administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Accurately document medication administration and resident observations Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and report any changes or adverse reactions Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, pharmacies, residents, and families Assist with new resident admissions and orientation Schedule physician appointments and coordinate transportation when necessary Maintain accurate resident records and documentation Encourage resident independence while providing compassionate care Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Successful completion of Pennsylvania Med Tech training program required CPR and First Aid Certification required (or ability to obtain) Previous experience working with seniors or in assisted living is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with mobility as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys building meaningful relationships with seniors Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Pays close attention to detail Values teamwork and exceptional resident care Takes pride in providing safe, compassionate medication administration #J-18808-Ljbffr William Penn Care Center
