What You'll Do: Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver
As a Delivery Driver - Non CDL, you'll start and end each day at our warehouse location in Port Saint Lucie, where you'll load your delivery vehicle with pre-sorted Amazon packages before heading out on your route.
- Operate your delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while following GPS instructions, traffic laws, and company safety policies
- Complete your delivery route accurately and on schedule, delivering packages to residential and commercial locations
- Navigate your delivery route using company-provided smartphone technology
- Provide exceptional customer service with every package delivery
- Load and unload packages from your delivery vehicle throughout your shift
- Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. throughout your delivery day
- Maintain clear communication with management team
- Work up to 10-hour shifts, including one weekend day and holidays as needed
Delivery Driver Requirements: No CDL Required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license (Non CDL driver's license is acceptable)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts, including one weekend day and holidays
- Strong communication skills and comfort using a smartphone for GPS navigation and delivery tracking
- Physically able to enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout your shift
- Ability to handle packages and complete deliveries in all weather conditions
- Maintain a safe driving record and follow all traffic laws
