Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele

Location: Missoula, Montana

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team. This role requires solid experience in medical-surgical tele nursing, focusing on adult and geriatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Manage NG tube, Foley catheter, and chest tube maintenance
• Provide wound care and treatment for common diagnoses such as small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, pneumonia, and sepsis
• Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg tele experience
• Preferred experience with Cerner EMR and NIHSS certification
