Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Ambassador in Parsippany, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, verify identification as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Answer questions, direct visitors, support sign-in processes, and maintain accurate front desk records related to security-related operations and visitor management. Observe lobby and reception areas for potential concerns, report maintenance and/or security-related issues, and support a professional atmosphere at the location. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
