Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality medical care to our animal patients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Monitor the condition of animals under your care and provide appropriate interventions as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Assist veterinarians during medical and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment. Provide compassionate and effective communication with pet owners regarding their pets\' health and treatment plans. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic\'s facilities and equipment. Be available for emergency and critical care situations as they arise. Qualifications Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or hold an equivalent certification. Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and medical practices. Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to animal care.
