Emergency Room (ER) Technician Per Diem / Day position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has grown to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding community. The hospital network now comprises a 238‑bed community hospital network, including a 160‑bed acute care hospital and a 78‑bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the ER Technician administers patient care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The technician follows the plan of care set by a registered nurse and/or physician, managing the individual needs of each patient with regards to their age and clinical diagnosis. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in the Emergency Department to ensure smooth patient flow. The ER Technician has specialized skills and knowledge in Emergency Care for all patients from infancy through geriatric ages.
