New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. # of Positions: 1 Work Location: San Luis Obispo County Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Facility: DSH - Atascadero Job Description And Duties The Analyst I will be directed by the Supervisor I in the Trust Office at the Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero (ASH). The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to: Hospital Liaison for Medicare Benefit Information. Process applications and other related documents for patient enrollment with Medicare Part B. Analyzes changes in Social Security Administration (SSA) benefit rules, regulations, and ensures compliance with departmental policies, and applicable federal, state and local laws. Social Security Insurance (SSI) Pre-Releases. Process and provide daily census reports, update Cost Recovery System (CRS) with new patient information. Enter New Admit patients onto the Taxpayer Identification Number list daily for Patient Payroll. Maintain patient vocation worker time and pay. Utilize the current accounting system and cost recovery services (CRS).
