Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity PICU setting during night shift hours
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Support continuity of care during a coverage period, maintaining established unit standards and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a PICU or comparable pediatric critical care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required or as mandated by facility
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract beginning mid-to-late October 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric intensive care environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric patient populations and complex care needs
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into an established unit team
