Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to residents in the LTAC/rehab setting under supervision of a licensed OT, focusing on activities of daily living, functional mobility, and adaptive strategies.
- Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, document progress notes, and reassess goals at regular intervals.
- Facilitate interventions to enhance ADLs, fine motor skills, upper-extremity function, and cognitive-motor activities as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, nursing, social work) to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and safety protocols.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; maintain accurate, timely documentation in the chart and electronic health record.
- Communicate clearly with residents and, as appropriate, families about therapy goals, progression, and home exercise programs.

Requirements
- Current Montana COTA license or eligibility for MT licensure
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- Prior experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; accurate documentation
- Ability to work the Day shift in a travel assignment and adapt to a new facility environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain resident safety and privacy
