We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment in an independent retail pharmacy. Reporting to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, this role will provide daytime shift coverage while assisting with medication dispensing, patient service, insurance billing, and accurate pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with medication dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
- Provide patient assistance and customer service.
- Process insurance billing and resolve related issues.
- Complete pharmacy data entry accurately.
- Maintain prescription and patient records.
- Follow medication safety procedures and pharmacy compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pharmacy operations.
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
- State pharmacy technician registration or license.
- Knowledge of prescription processing and medication safety.
- Experience with insurance billing and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective customer service and communication skills.
