Cultivation Technician

POSITION SUMMARYExecutes daily cannabis cultivation operations under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Supervisor(s). Responsible for hands‑on plant care and maintaining cultivation standards to ensure healthy plant development and quality production. Reports to the Cultivation General Manager and works collaboratively with the cultivation team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCultivation OperationsExecute daily and weekly cultivation tasks including feeding, nutrient brewing and maintenance, cleaning, trellising, topping, super cropping, pruning, transplanting, IPM applications, training, water delivery, and plant monitoring via systemsMonitor plant health and development, identifying issues such as pests, disease, or nutrient deficienciesExecute cultivation tasks according to established SOPs and schedulesAssist with transplanting, and plant movement activitiesReport plant health issues, equipment problems, or safety concerns to Cultivation Supervisor(s) and Garden ManagerProcesses and prepares coco coir for transplantsFacility Maintenance & SanitationMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of grow rooms, equipment, and work areasClean and sanitize tools, pots, trays, cultivation equipment, and cultivation rooms.Remove plant waste and maintain organized work areasAssist with general facility maintenance tasks as neededDocumentation & ComplianceAccurately document daily/weekly cultivation activities in necessary cultivation logsFollow all Colorado MED regulations and company compliance policiesQUALIFICATIONSRequired QualificationsCurrent MED badge holderReliable transportationFlexibility in schedule (Monday-Friday, weekends on rare occasions)Ability to work independently and in teamsExcellent time management and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with cannabis cultivationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during cultivation activitiesComfortable working in warm, humid environments with bright lightingAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyCapable of bending, kneeling, and reaching during plant care activitiesAbility to work atop ladders with equipmentCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSSalary Range: $19.23 to $20.19/hrActual compensation depends on experience level and demonstrated track record.Benefits include:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays#J-18808-Ljbffr
