Equipment Operator II – CDL A | Rotating 1st/2nd shift

What you’ll doThis isn’t a sit-behind-the-wheel-all-day role. You’ll split your time between operating equipment, supporting plant operations, and keeping things running smoothly across the facility.  Day to day, you might:

• Get behind the wheel of tractor-trailers, tankers, or other heavy equipment to move materials between sites
• Jockey trailers in and out of the dewatering building, working in tight spaces with precision
• Jump in to support sludge dewatering operations, including mixing polymer and working alongside plant operators
• Use loaders or forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials
• Handle the hands-on work of connecting hoses, trailers, and tankers
• Stay on top of preventive maintenance - checking equipment, fueling vehicles, and spotting issues early
• Pitch in with facility upkeep and cleaning tasks to keep the plant safe and operational (this is active, sometimes dirty work)
• Help out wherever needed, especially during busy times, weather events, or when the team needs extra support

What We’re Looking For 

• Schedule:  
• Rotating 1st & 2nd shift, Monday-Friday. 
• 6 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. (1 week), then 2 pm-10:30 pm (1 week)  
• Occasional overtime is required to support plant operations      
• Licensure:  
• Valid PA Class A CDL with air brake required  
• N-Tank Trailers preferred  
• Equipment Skills:  Must be comfortable driving a 10-speed manual transmission 
• Experience: Hands on work operating tractor trailers and heavy equipment in industrial environments 
• Environment:Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions 
• Physical Work:  Ability to lift 55 lbs. and perform active, physical work throughout the shift
• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required

• Starting pay at $23.94/hr. + $1.40/hr. differential for 2nd shift
