This role ensures compliance with all security regulations and standards, mitigates risks, and manages security personnel and systems.Job Responsibilities**Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific security plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate security guidelines and industry best practices.Manage and supervise security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and audits to identify potential threats and recommend preventative measures.Oversee the operation and maintenance of all site security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.Investigate security incidents, breaches, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other external agencies as required.Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for all site employees.Manage security budget and resources effectively.Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA).Coordinate emergency response plans and drills, including fire safety, natural disasters, and active threat situations.Implement and manage visitor management protocols and contractor security requirements.Conduct background checks and security screenings for new hires and contractors as per company policy.Job Qualifications**Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or corporate environment.Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and policies.Strong knowledge of security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.Excellent understanding of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response protocols.Familiarity with relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 27001).Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are highly desirable.Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
