Insurance Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our monthly premium remittance process and support our underwriting partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit monthly premium remittances to underwriters.
- Pull and analyze data from our management system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Compare internal premium history against underwriter records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain documented procedures to ensure compliance with premium processing requirements.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and accuracy checks.
- Conduct analysis of reports, statements, and various financial documents.
- Support end-of-month close activities.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, special projects, and other analytical tasks as needed.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
