Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Travel


Location: Trumansburg, NY


Pay: $64.26 per hour


Shifts: Rotating shifts: Days/evenings/weekends

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Travel

• Maintain 24-hour accountability for quality of care of clients
• Complete physical & mental health assessments (VS, risk assessments, COWS as indicated by Part 820 regulations)
• Administer and monitor treatment regimens
• Administer prescribed medications
• Observe and report behavioral changes
• Maintain control of drugs and medications
• Triage emergent client medical issues and coordinate care with Nursing Staff, PA, NP, Medical Director, and outside providers
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned
• Direct care provided by licensed practical nurses

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Travel

• Med-Surg and Psych specialties required
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
