Travel Nurse RN - Case Management - $2,378 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Kalispell, Montana.

Job Description & Requirements

Minimum Experience: 
2 years case management
Inpatient experience required
Will accept a first-time traveler

Required Certs: RN, BLS, Certified case manager preferred

Patient Ratios: Avg 14 patients a day case load

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: All inpatient-DC to home health, rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC-Adult population

Skills required: Experience with prior authorization for post-acute care
DME planning
Working with and communication with a diverse interdisciplinary team
Time management and multi-tasking
Support within the Department:
Shared office for CM team
Each unit staffs one CM and one SW
Receptionist
Charge nurse
Unit manager

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Meditech
Unit specific equipment: phones for communication
Interpreter app on phone

Orientation (facility and unit): NEO
How many days of unit orientation? Week 1 Wed, Thurs, Fri, plus Saturday at discretion of manager

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: none
On call? If so, what is that schedule? none
Holiday Expectations: per facility policy
RTO through manager

Scrub Color: business or scrubs

Parking: Free

Unit Culture: potlucks, collaborative, virtual bingo, well experienced team, depth of knowledge and experience, have not needed a traveler in the past, welcoming
