Maxx Fitness Clubzz Assistant ManagerMaxx Fitness Clubzz is looking for a committed, friendly, upbeat individual to become a part of our fitness team!If you are looking to share a passion for fitness, than this is the perfect job for you!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for providing the first positive impression of the Maxx Fitness facility;The Assistant Manager must be passionate about the fitness industry and have a desire to manage a staff and eventually advance on to a manager position in our company.This individual must be driven by goals and have an ability to drive a team of employees to create a positive atmosphere and friendly environment.Interact with customers by telephone and in person to provide information about our memberships and services.Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems;Complete membership forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders, using check-in computers;Contact customers to respond to inquiries;Maintaining a clean facility;Create rapport with customers that may lead to sales of new memberships or additional services or products.Physical Functions:Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift;Open availability to work 40 or more hours each week.A high school diploma or equivalent requiredCertified fitness trainers or instructors preferredConversant in Spanish preferred.The job requirements list is not a complete description of responsibilities, but the list reflects the general qualifications, duties and/or responsibilities necessary to perform this position.
